MoonNomada Neck Adornment 

I found myself in the mountains above the clouds, surrounded by misty fog and wild wind, when a vision of this creation started growing in my mind.

Sitting there on the ground, surrounded by the misty fog, feeling all those tiny little rain drops gently rolling down my face- I felt how I am part of all of it. Connected to the roots, to the mountains, to the rain- to all our world.

This moment felt exactly like this powerful piece of art itself.

A part of it I had already made a while back. The root of this piece is made of rabbit bones and scavenged metal nails, both found and cleaned up by me, connected with hemp cords and stainless steel rings. But I felt it incomplete the way it was - so I added a frame of hemp cord macrame, fluffy cotton yarn, sewed it all together and added some stainless steel chains, and attached it all to a silver brass choker.

Inspired by the wind, created above the clouds, captured in the rain ♡

PS: I recommend wearing this adornment over a clothing since the fabric can be a little scratchy on the skin.

About the bones:

Creating art with bones feels magical in a way that's hard to put into words.
I myself found these on a field close to the sea, brought them home, cleaned them up, and I want to give them a new life as part of my creations.
It makes me feel so deeply connected with our world, with life itself, with every part of it - even the shadows that most people rather don't talk about.

There's no death without life - and no life without death. Everything is connected ♡
