MoonNomada Neck Adornment
Weaved wires transformed into the symbol of transformation, snuggling around a bone that I found in Spain last year.
A piece of transparent glass shaping the serpents head - which puts the meaning of ‘art is my therapy’ into a whole new personal perspective for me. Incorporating one of those into something that I create is like giving bad memories a new meaning, a way that has helped me a lot when dealing with the past.
The serpent's body is weaved of copper and sterling silver wire, and a massive hammered sterling silver bar holds it all in place.
A braid of cotton and hemp, connected by stainless steel details, let's you wear this piece of art around your neck.

About the bones:
Creating art with bones feels magical in a way that's hard to put into words.
I myself found these on a field close to the sea, brought them home, cleaned them up, and I want to give them a new life as part of my creations.
It makes me feel so deeply connected with our world, with life itself, with every part of it - even the shadows that most people rather don't talk about.
There's no death without life - and no life without death. Everything is connected ♡
