MoonNomada Neck Adornment
Driftwood is like wood, but has traveled farther than its roots would ever allow .. Every piece carries a long story, one which only the wood itself will ever know.
The mystery and uniqueness of driftwood is forever fascinating me, I feel honored when I find some and can give them a special place in my creations.
For this spiral talisman I combined it with stainless steel chains, sterling silver clasps, dark brown hemp cord macrame, and oxidized copper wire for the spiral.
I love how this piece holds both kind of spirals, inward and outward - depending on your point of view.
On the front side it appears as a clockwise spiral, often associated with growth, progress, expansion.
If you look at the backside it appears as counterclockwise, symbolizing introspection, the journey into oneself.
Also, you can wear this in different ways, short or long (see video).
