Every now and then it made its way into my mind but I kept pushing it away for more than half of my life. Until one day I couldn't anymore. Finally I let myself feel it. The pain. The regret. The shame. All of it. I let it out. Since that day I feel so much lighter. I finally let it go.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI am finally free.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat day, the vision for this creation began to grow in my head.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJust a glimpse of what it might become.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA fusion of two separate creations I made last year; one I wasn't completely happy with the result with, the other one I never really finished.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBut now, suddenly there was this 'what if I put them together into one?' question in my head. And I became obsessed with it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA whole month, more than 180 hours of my life I've spent creating this most complex piece of art ever made by my hands.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI've completely lost and found myself multiple times within the process. Time didn't exist. I felt like I was floating somewhere between future, past and present; somewhere far away and yet so deeply connected to it All.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's been a month full of growth, transformation, and a deep remembering of who I am.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI love how it turned out to have an eye in its center when the first idea for it came to my mind when I finally opened my eyes to my memory ..\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vision I had at first evolved into something I couldn't even have imagined.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSomething multidimensional and timeless.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSomething that has become a reflection of dreams and memories in physical shape.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSomething between medieval and futuristic, between raw and polished, light and dark - something from deep within my soul released into reality.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 'Phoenix Tiara' involves lots of little precious materials that I spotted on my way through life and picked up with my own hands - such as tiny rabbit bones found in andalusia, and raw malachite found in the forests of the pyrenees. Creating with things that I found and cleaned by myself feels so different than if someone else would have been doing that already. It makes me feel so much deeper connected to what I work with, like life has brought me to find them for a reason, like I just continue writing the story that they already told me.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRusted metal parts are given a second life and meet contrasting shiny stainless steel, held together and wrapped in natural hemp and cotton cords.
